#870 - GRAYS HARBOR - REMOVE FISH BARRIERS
The Grays Harbor - Remove Fish Barriers Project is for WSDOT. Its located along SR8 and US12 at five different site locations. The sites are Camp Creek, and Unnamed Tributaries to Mox Creek, Wildcat Creek, Vance Creek and Wenzel Slough.
US 12 MP 12.36 Camp Creek (Camp Creek):
1.35 miles of US 12 in Grays Harbor County from Milepost (MP) 11.95 to MP 13.30. This work includes partially removing and abandoning the existing 6’ x 6’ x 253’ double barreled box culvert and realigning the stream under US 12 and Simmons Road with prestressed concrete girder bridges on eastbound and westbound US 12 and Simmons Road.
US 12 MP 17.56 Unnamed Tributary to Wenzel Slough (Wenzel Slough):
1.36 miles of US 12 in Grays Harbor County from MP 17.04 to MP 18.40. This Work includes realigning the stream and replacing the existing 54-inch diameter x 143’ long corrugated steel pipe with a prestressed concrete girder bridge.
US 12 MP 19.17 Unnamed Tributary to Vance Creek (Vance Creek):
1.45 miles of US 12 in Grays Harbor County from MP 18.56 to MP 20.01. This Work includes realigning the stream and replacing the existing 4’ diameter x 151’ long concrete culvert with a prestressed concrete girder bridge.
SR 8 MP 3.16 Unnamed Tributary to Wildcat Creek (Wildcat Creek):
0.82 miles of SR 8 in Grays Harbor County from MP 2.80 to MP 3.62. This Work includes replacing the existing 4’ diameter x 140’ long corrugated steel pipe with prestressed concrete girder bridges on eastbound and westbound SR 8.
SR 8 MP 9.10 Unnamed Tributary to Mox Chehalis Creek (Mox Chehalis Creek):
1.13 miles of SR 8 in Grays Harbor County from MP 8.75 to MP 9.88. This Work includes realigning the stream and replacing the existing 4’ wide x 140’ long box culvert with a Contractor-designed four-sided buried structure.
